Head Start

NICAA HEAD START is a fun and exciting place to send your child! We have three great facilities and very qualified and loving staff. NICAA Head Start is federally funded child and family development program. Our preschool program serves children 3 to 5 years old and their families. HEAD START provides comprehensive developmental, educational, and nutritional services to our children as well as providing support to the parents HEAD START has classrooms located in Freeport; together they serve 190 children and families. HEAD START is pleased to be able to offer 7 hour classes five days a week, as well as part day classes four days a week, Monday through Thursday.
